Happy New Year to one and all! I hope you have been taking some time to enjoy the season with family and friends. After getting CLAW Emergence 3: Return to Darkness out the door on Christmas Eve, I’ve taken a break myself and enjoyed the last week off, taking time to refresh and recharge.
Four years ago, when I published my first novel, CLAW: A Canadian Thriller, I couldn’t have imagined how far my stories would take me. Now, after releasing my ninth novel, and with my debut in development in Hollywood, I have to say that it’s been an amazing journey. And, of course, I couldn’t have done any of it without you, my amazing readers. But it’s not done yet, that’s for sure, so don’t worry.
Over the last few years, I have come to the conclusion that writing and releasing two novels a year seems to be my limit. I released four in 2021 and that was pretty exhausting, so for the immediate future, I will stick to a biannual release schedule. With that said, I hope to surprise you with some more short stories throughout the course of the year.
And that brings us to my latest project, CLAW Resurrection, the third novel in the present-day stand-alone CLAW series. Over the novel’s course, questions will be answered about what goes on in and around Lawless, but it will also generate new ones as well. Regardless, it will be great to pick up with Christine, Austin, Trip, Jerry and the rest of the gang this spring to see what other events have transpired since our last visit. Once that is released, I will be starting on Lively Deadmarsh’s second adventure, Besieged. Unlike ABANDONED, Lively’s second outing will be a stand-alone novel and not a mini-series.
