CLAW Resurgence cover and story reveal

Hi everyone!

The cover to CLAW Resurgence is now available for your viewing pleasure.

After the quake in January, Lawless, BC, is still recovering from the damage inflicted upon the small town by Mother Nature, both geologic and otherwise. Now, many months later, things are just starting to return to normal. The holidays are fast approaching, and the city is preparing for its brand new winter festival to celebrate the reconstruction and reopening of the calamity prone mountain town.

Without giving anything further away, I will say that if you enjoyed CLAW: A Canadian Thriller, you should enjoy Resurgence just as much. Everyone is back, with new friends and foes to make things even more interesting.

Feel free to leave a comment and let me know what you think!

Enjoy the rest of your summer, and I will give another update very soon.

Good health and great read,

-Katie

CLAW Resurgence

CLAW Resurgence Cover Partial Reveal

Over the past several months, I have been hard at work on the sequel to CLAW, CLAW Resurgence. It is going very well, and I believe anyone who enjoyed CLAW will find plenty to love in the sequel. All of your favourite characters are back, along with some new ones that will keep things more than interesting. I am revealing part of Resurgence’s cover today, with the full image to come sometime later this month.

At this point, I should mention that I had some major surgery back at the beginning of June and am recovering nicely. However, this has added a slight delay to the production of Resurgence. For a period of almost three weeks, I was unable to work on it due to not feeling well enough or present enough to commit words to paper, so to speak. This means that there may be a delay of that many weeks before Resurgence is released. I realise I had planned on a late summer release, which I am still aiming for, but it could very well be early fall instead. I would like to apologise to those of you eagerly anticipating this novel, but when I announce tentative release dates, that’s precisely what they are, tentative. I could bring up my Orson Welles and Almaden wines analogy again at this point, but I think I have mentioned it a few times over the last little while and will give it a rest for now. However, I believe CLAW Resurgence will be worth the wait, and I thank you one and all for your patience and understanding. Sometimes, life gets in the way, and my surgery was one of those times. Fortunately, I am almost 100% once more (actually about 95%), and things are back on track.

ABANDONED Book 3

The third book in the ABANDONED series is also in production, and I am still looking at a Halloween release and am working my hardest to get it done, along with CLAW Resurgence. Unlike some authors out there, I am only one person, not a ‘collective’ of a dozen writers as some authors are, who write under a single pen name and release a book or two per month. Think of me a boutique winery (what is it with me and wine?) that releases a quality product when it is ready for release and not before.

In closing, thanks once again for your patience and continued support. I hope the rest of your summer is everything you want it to be, and hopefully more.

Good health and great reads to you all,

-Katie Berry
