Hello, my friends,
I have a quick announcement regarding CLAW Emergence Book 2: Into Daylight. It’s one of those bad, bad, good news scenarios.
The bad news is that Book 2 of Emergence will be delayed, I am very sorry to say. This is due to the other bad news that I have to give you.
My little muse, and email guardian, Mimsie the cat, went missing two weeks ago.
Her disappearance has unfortunately disrupted my workflow on the novel. I have been out searching for her and doing everything I can from posting missing posters on telephone poles, to calling all the vets in the area and the SPCA, but there has been no sign of her. As you can imagine, this has been an extremely emotional experience for me, and it has been hard for me to focus on my writing some days since Mimsie went missing.
The good news is that this delay in Book 2’s release won’t be a long one. I have been working as hard as I can to get it out on time, and it looks right now that it should be in your hands by the end of June. There is a chance, if all goes well, it could be a little sooner (mid-June?). I will keep you all apprised, however, so don’t worry about missing a thing if you are an email subscriber. I will keep you right up to date.
Just FYI, the novel is complete and almost ready to go, but I am just in the final process of polishing it to a shine so that you will enjoy it as much as the first. There is more of everything in it, more action and adventure, more suspense and horror, more twists and turns, a burgeoning romance and epic betrayal, and of course, more monsters.
Once again, my sincerest apologies for the delay and I thank you so much for your understanding and continued support.
