In Like a Lamb and Out Like a Wolf.

Staying warm and dry and watching movies.

Well, here we are again. Another month has passed and I’m still hard at work on CLAW Resurrection, as those of you who may have seen my most recent Facebook post are undoubtedly aware. For those of you who didn’t see that post, I will reiterate that things are going very well and that if you’ve read the first two novels, you will find plenty to enjoy in Resurrection. All your favourite characters will be back, along with some new faces, and there will be plenty more intrigue, surprises, action and, of course, monsters.

There hasn’t been too much else exciting happening and I have mostly been trying to stay dry and warm inside while winter works its magic here in the northern hemisphere. One thing I have been doing recently is watching quite a few classic movies. I love to revisit old favourites when I don’t want too many surprises, since sometimes, its good to know where the jump scares are. And in the land of books, most that I have been buying of late have been cookbooks, just as last month so I won’t spend too much more time on that topic.

One other thing that has been keeping me occupied at the moment is trying to bring some scenes from my novels to life through AI. Most will be brief vignettes, but going forward, there will also be some more involved multi-scene projects. As you can see in the attached picture, the first image I generated was the Painted Wolf from the end of ABANDONED Book 3.

If you click HERE, you can see this image animated through AI on my website, along with a brief passage from the novel. In the future, I will also do some longer scenes (with sound and music) from CLAW and its sequels and prequels. There’s so much to choose from I don’t think I will have any problems finding things to keep you entertained as you wait for more novels. Also, if you would like to request a specific scene for me to create from one of my novels and post on my website, feel free to email me at katie@katieberry.ca, and I’ll see what I can do!

That’s about it for what’s new. Now, time for some more monthly draw winners! The autographed paperback of their choice is: aesjr43@XXXXXX.com. And the winner of the audiobook of their choice is: pamandave@XXXXXX.com. Congratulations to you both! Thank you all, once again, for being Katie Berry Books Insider Subscribers (if you’re not, you’re missing out on a monthly chance to win some great prizes, so why not click here to join: https://katieberry.ca/become-a-katie-berry-books-insider-and-win/).

I can’t tell you how much it means to me that you take precious time out of your day to read and enjoy my stories. However, your doing so allows me to continue to do what I love and I am both grateful and humbled by your kindness and enthusiasm for my work. Please take care until next month, my friends.

Good health and great reads to you all,

-Katie Berry
